KAREN BRAVO

Karen Bravo is an interdisciplinary artist from Colombia who specialises in Afro Colombian folklore dance and movement. She draws influence from her African roots and fuses it with traditional rhythms from the south pacific coast in Colombian. She has incorporated music and dance in her artistic creative processes as a form of inspiration and as a tool to show her culture. Karen is currently working as a dance performer for the band Digital AfriKa, performing at festivals and running dance workshop.
